Our Services
JLA Treasures will perform written appraisals of personal household property, antiques and collectibles for probate, estate and/or inheritance tax purposes. We will also appraise for insurance, marital and business dissolutions, charitable contributions, and for estate planning purposes. In addition to her extensive experience, our owner, Carol Matesic, is a Certifed Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
Furthermore, we have in-house expertise in appraising and valuing collectible motor vehicles (our valuations of expensive collector vehicles have withstood Federal Estate Tax examination, and have been admitted as expert witness testimony in probate and civil litigation). No one is an expert on everything. We recognize when outside assistance is needed in appraising items of particular value or significance. The key is having the experience and expertise to recognize the potential of those items. We have extensive professional contacts, locally, nationally and even internationally. We will seek specialized expertise when needed.

Okay, so it’s our truck and one guy. Pictured here is our warehouse contractor Clint Culverhouse, with our GMC 3500 Savana Hi-Cube Van, sporting a 14-foot Morgan body. The van was located for us by www.personalvehicleshopper.com.
At times when our staff and our van are not being used to move consigned goods in preparation for a sale, we will move furniture, appliances, apartments, and whatever. For the low low cost of only $95/hr., you get the use of our highly experienced 2-man crew (they move valuable antiques nearly every week) and our excellent (maintained weekly) moving van! Extra staff for packing available as needed.
